The Milpa (aka three sisters garden) was the traditional garden of Mesoamerica and Southwest. It consisted of Squash, Corn, Beans and many kinds of wild and cultivated greens. Milpas were foundation of civilization in the Americas and continue to be centrally important to the tribes and many other cultures across the US. We selected some of our favorite varieties for this special offering. Hopi Black Bean, Concho Corn, Colorado Plateau Orange Squash, and Waltham Butternut. Packaged in a reusable tin with screw lid.
