A biennial storage radish originally domesticated in Asia at least 5000 years ago. 3-4” diameter globe-shaped, earthy black and brown skin, bright white, firm, dense and crisp flesh. Pungent flavor, similar to horseradish, mellows when cooked. Excellent source of vitamin C, A, E and B. Very cold tolerant and store for over 12 months. We generally plant the first week of August and harvest in October. Plant every 4-5”. 60 days. Grown by Pueblo Seed. Certified Organic.
