Heirloom. The moschata species of squash, which includes butternuts, are among the oldest cultivated crops of the Americas. This variety was known to have been grown by the Seminole people of Florida and is a heat-loving plant. Fruits are bell-shaped, flesh is dense and sweet and they are unsurpassable as a storage squash. Plants have long vines and distinctive white markings on leaves.  110 days. Grown by Pueblo Seed. Certified organic.
