Korjaj Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor subsp. Bicolor)
A beautiful white grain sorghum from western Sudan, which was collected through a USDA program in the 1940s and reintroduced by Experimental Farm Network. Sorghums have excellent nutrient profiles for people and livestock. The plants are drought tolerant and Korjaj is short compared to many sorghum varieties, averaging 5’, and thus has good resistance to lodging. Dense and productive seed heads. Plant spacing 8”.
