Date: August 15-17, 2025
This experience is focused on soil health, seed, and food and the links to human health. There is much focus on soil health today, as crops have experienced a significant loss in nutrients due to deteriorating soil conditions. For human health to thrive, our food system needs to shift and focus first on building soil health. But also seeds are often forgotten as significant conduits to healthy crops and ultimately, a nourishing diet and a healthy gut microbiota. This experience brings attendees a rich array of hands-on learning and food literacy, while also exploring plant-forward cooking using locally grown, seasonal ingredients and well-balanced, climate-smart protein choices.
