The Milpa (aka three sisters garden) was the traditional garden of Mesoamerica and Southwest. It consisted of Squash, Corn and Beans. Milpas were foundation of civilization in the Americas and continue to be centrally important to the tribes and many other cultures across the US. We selected some of our favorite varieties for this special offering. Hopi Black Bean, Concho Corn, Calabaza Mexicana. Please note the Calabaza Mexicana is organically grown by our friends at Mountain Roots in Mancos, CO, but not certified.
