Bolitas are sweeter, richer tasting, faster cooking and easier on the stomach than Pintos. Brought to Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado by the Spanish and adapted for high elevations. This strain was collected in Vadito, NM in the 1980s by late seedsman Brett Bakker and is the most true-to-type we have ever seen. Bushy-vining habit. Plant Spacing 1-2”. 100 days.
