We offer a variety of grain berries.
Mountain Mama Hard Red Wheat: Certified organic. The variety we have is from the San Luis Valley and called Jefferson Wheat. This wheat is great for baking due to high protein and great gluten strength. Berries can also be cooked for grain bowls or to replace any side or main dish that contains rice.
Mountain Mama Ryman Rye Certified organic. The variety we have is from the San Luis Valley and called Ryman Rye. This rye is mild and versatile in baking and cooking. Berries can also be sprouted and/or cooked for grain bowls or to replace any side or main dish that contains rice.
Einkorn Berries. We source our einkorn from Utah. Einkorn is one of the most nutritious wheats and can also be used for cooking and sprouting. If milled einkorn can be used in any baking applications although a skilled hand is important when working with einkorn in sourdough bread baking as its gluten strength is low.
All berries are packed in 3 lb compostable kraft bags with a seal.
